For instance, in July 2023, residents in Chengdu, China, witnessed what seemed to be two suns in the sky. This spectacle was attributed to atmospheric optical illusions.
Similarly, in August 2024, a remarkable optical illusion caused seven suns to appear in the sky over Chengdu, China. This event was captured on video and captivated viewers.
These occurrences are natural and have been documented throughout history. They are caused by specific atmospheric conditions that refract and reflect sunlight, leading to the illusion of multiple suns. While they may seem unusual, they are well-understood phenomena in meteorology.
It could also be another star similar resembling the Sun, whose brightness and position that creates two suns appearing in the sky remember the sun itself is also a star.
